Dear customer,
We are sending you this manual so that you can manage the backups that cPanel manages through the jetBackup tool.
It is an extension of cPanel included for free in shared hosting for our customers that manages backups very well and with a couple of clicks you can restore what you need in seconds.
🔴 🔴 (If you have a VPS, you must contract the license separately and we configure the service to operate on your service) 🔴 🔴
The first thing we need to do is access our cPanel and locate the jetBackup section, which looks similar to:
Initially, it gives you the option to restore everything (Full Account Backups) or just restore certain things that we need individually.
Restore everything (Full Account Backups)
It's not very complicated, a list will appear with all the available dates of the backups for that domain and we click on the Restore button.
This will restore all the content of that domain. Emails, web, database, cron, etc. according to the selected date.
It enters the server task queue and when it finishes, you will receive a notice.
Restore in parts (Web, emails, crons, databases...)
Simply, instead of clicking on "Full Account Backups", we select what we are interested in restoring. For example, let's say we want to restore an email account, then we click on "Email Backups".
This action will recover the email from [email protected] according to the selected date.
Repeat the process for all email accounts, databases or websites that you want to restore using the same mechanism.
Best regards,
The ProfesionalHosting team.
