Mod Security is a tool that allows you to protect your website from infections or actions that may negatively affect it, which is why this management must be approached with knowledge.

Firstly, we must understand that it is possible for a template or module to cause our Mod Security to act and create a conflict with the functioning of our website.

When Mod Security "jumps," we will receive a 403 or the well-known Forbidden.

Logically, we will not know which rule has jumped and which has blocked our access or our plugins/theme.

To be able to identify it, it is necessary to access our Plesk panel, within this we will access the subscription >> websites and domains >> Web Application Firewall

Within this section, we can:

-Deactivate Mod Security.
-See an ID of the rules
-Override Mod Security rules

To see the rule that creates the conflict, we must access the Error Log file.

Here we leave you an example log of a rule that is jumping, in this case it is rule number 3.

Now that we know that the rule is number 3, we will add it to exemptions and then click apply.
