We run the installer and choose the language. If we don't choose the language here, we can change it later. Once done, we click on Next.
We accept the conditions and click on Next.

In the window that appears, we choose the following option:
We will use the installation type as a service and service options Use the local system account. Auto-start the interface.
By clicking on Next, we will see the following window where we will indicate Yes.
Now we click on Install and finally on Done in the next window.
Now we run the Cobian Backup 11 user interface.
In the interface, we click on "Create a new task", the + icon.
In the window that opens, we have everything we need for this task:
In the General section:
We give it a Task name
We choose the Backup type, where we will choose between 3 types:
Full: Copies all the content we indicate.
Differential: Copies the content that is different from the last full copy.
Incremental: Copies the different content from the last incremental or full copy. If no full copy is created, the first incremental is considered complete as it has all the files.
The rest can be left as it is in the screenshot.
In the Files section:
We choose the different folders we want to copy, in the Source section we click on Add.
We choose the destination for the backup copies, in this case our backup.
By clicking on FTP, the following window opens, where we will establish the data provided at the time of hiring the backup, do not forget to activate Passive Transfers.
Now we go to the Schedule section, where we can choose how often we want backups to be performed, the time they will be executed, etc.
With this configured, we click on OK.
With this, we will have our task configured and ready to be launched as soon as the assigned date arrives.
If we want to modify a configured task, we can double-click on it and it will appear the same as to create it, modifying the parameters we need and finally clicking on OK.
Different tasks can be configured for backups, for example, a full backup every Sunday and incremental backups from Monday to Saturday.
