Plesk offers us a simple installer from which we can install Moodle in a few simple steps.

To do this, it is first necessary to access our Plesk panel and create our subscription with the domain name.

If you do not know how to create a subscription, you can follow this tutorial.

Once our subscriptions have been created, we will access Install Applications.

Here a search bar will appear where we have to write Moodle, once Moodle appears, we will have to click on the arrow and click on custom installation.

Once we have selected it, the terms of use will appear, which we must accept.

If an error appears when accepting this process, we must verify that we have version 7.0 of PHP. You can change the version of PHP by following this tutorial.

The installation menu will appear, in which we can select:

  • If we want the website to work under HTTP or HTTPS.

  • If we want automatic updates "we recommend leaving it disabled".

  • Username and password.

  • Email account.

  • Name, password, and prefix of the database "we recommend leaving it by default".

Once we click on install, the installation process will begin.

Once the process is finished, we will have our Moodle installed.
