To set up an email account from our domain on hotmail.com or outlook.live.com, we must access the hotmail email, and first configure an email account from hotmail.com or another extension of this company such as outlook.com, live.com, etc. In our case, we have logged in with the [email protected] email account, you can log in with the one you have.
Once configured, simply go to the hotmail.com website and click on the key in the upper right section and click on connected accounts:

- The following window will appear and we must configure the form as it appears in the image:
- Remember to mark the option Manually configure server settings or additional server types. When we click on accept, the following will appear:
Depending on what we choose, we must configure the input in one way or another:
IMAP:
IMAP Server: mail.domainname
User: Email account we are going to configure
Password: Email account password
Port: 143
POP3:
POP3 Server: mail.domainname
User: Email account we are going to configure
Password: Email account password
Port: 110
Encryption: None
- It is important, in the outgoing server, to click on the option Use a different username and password for sending email as shown in the image above.
Once this is done, we will have our account configured and we can work with it in the hotmail.com email manager:
