Prestashop 1.7 allows us to install modules, which allows us to add more functionalities to our store, add new features, automatically synchronize products...

To install a module, we must enter the administration of Prestashop 1.7 and access Modules

After entering Modules, in the section of Installed Modules, we can see the currently installed modules. From here we can activate, deactivate, uninstall... To install a new module, we can do it in two ways.

If we have the module downloaded on our PC (usually a compressed .zip file) we can upload it by clicking on the top button Upload Module. After clicking on this, a window will open for us to upload the module and install it in our Prestashop.

Another way to install modules is to connect our Addons Marketplace account in our Prestashop, so that it downloads the modules we have purchased in our Addons Marketplace account directly onto it. To do this, we must click on the Connect to Addons Marketplace button. A window will open where we must enter our Addons Marketplace account and password.

After connecting, in Modules we can install payment modules without having to make the payment again from our store, and we can use this same account for other stores.
