Joomla allows us to easily and comfortably activate the HTTPS protocol. This way, we avoid having to set the relevant variables in our .htaccess.
To make our website secure, it is necessary to have an SSL certificate. If you don't have one, you can hire it at the following link.
Once we have our certificate installed on our server, we can activate it on our website.
First, we have to access our Joomla administration panel.
Once inside, we go to Global within Configuration.
Here we will have to go to the server tab.
In Server Configuration, under Force HTTPS, we will mark "Entire Site".
Now we will have our Joomla running under HTTPS.
