First, on our iPhone, we go to the Settings section and click on Accounts & Passwords:

Now, click on Add Account:

Click on Other:

Add email account:

Fill in the information with a name for the account, our email address, and the password for the email account. We can add a description if we want:

Now we configure the servers:

Incoming:

At the top of the photo, select IMAP or POP as the incoming server, the configuration here is the same for both:

  • Host name: mail.yourdomain.com (for example, if our domain is professionalhosting.com we put mail.professionalhosting.com)

  • User name: Email account

  • Password: Email account password

Outgoing:

  • Host name: mail.yourdomain.com (for example, if our domain is professionalhosting.com we put mail.professionalhosting.com)

  • User name: Email account

  • Password: Email account password

And click on Next:

We will see the following notice, where we will have to click on Yes:

The following screen will appear, and we must click on Save:

We go back to Settings > Accounts & Passwords and this time click on the account we created:

Click on Account:

Now we enter the SMTP section:

In the primary server, click on our mail server:

Configure the parameters exactly as they appear in the image:

  • No SSL.

  • Port 587.

  • Authentication: password.

When we click on OK, we will now click on Advanced:

And configure the parameters exactly as they appear in the image:

For IMAP:

  • No SSL.

  • Authentication: password.

  • Port: 143

For POP3:

  • No SSL.

  • Authentication: password.

  • Port: 110

Once it is configured, finally, we open our iPhone MAIL app and we can access our mailbox:
