Joomla uses the PHP-mail function by default. This can lead to a security problem for our server, since it is possible to send emails in a non-authenticated way. That is why Profesional Hosting recommends using SMTP.
To enable this function, it is necessary to first access our administration panel.
Once we have accessed it, we go to Global Configuration and then to the Server tab.
In this tab, we go to Email Settings and in the mail handler we have to make a change to SMTP.
