Next, we will explain how to set up our email on an iPad:
1. We enter settings:
2. Now in mail, contacts, calendars. Here we are shown the accounts we already have, now we click on Add account.
3. In this step, we have the option to choose between several email servers. To configure the email contracted with profesionalhosting, we are going to configure a different one from these, therefore we click on other:
4. In this step, we must enter the client's account information,
Name: Here we enter our name, which will be the one that is displayed when we send an email.
Address: Here we enter the complete address.
Password: Here we will write the password of our email.
Description: Here it would be convenient to indicate the use that we are going to give to this email account, for example, "personal email account" or "office email account".
5. In this step, we are going to define our IMAP email. Here we are going to configure our incoming and outgoing email (we have to put the same data in both places)
Host name: Here we will write mail.yourdomain.com
User name: Our email account (same as in address in the previous step).
Password: The account password (same as in the previous step).
6. In this step, a window shows us the data. Now we click on advanced.
7. We leave the Ssl option off. In authentication, we leave password selected, and verify that the port is 143.
Click on the Sent mailbox option to configure the server mailbox (and not the iPad's by default).
We already have our profesionalhosting email on our iPad.
