In this manual we are going to configure our email account to use it with the Mozilla Thunderbird program.

We access the menu File > New > Email Account

In the next window we will write the following data:
Your name: Here we will write the name that will appear to people who receive emails from our account.
Email address: Here we will write our email account.
Password: The password you defined for your email account.

Next, a window will appear where Thunderbird tries to find out the configuration of your email.
To configure our account, we will click on the Manual Configuration button.

In the manual configuration, we will define the following data:
Server name: mail.yourdomain.com
User Name: Your complete email account
Connection security: None

Once we have configured our incoming mail server, we will proceed to configure our outgoing mail server.
To access the server configuration, we will click on the left "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" and then click on new.

In the next window, we will fill in the data to configure our email.
Description: The name that the server would have, merely descriptive.
Server name: The address of your server mail.yourdomain.com
Port: Normally port 25.
Connection security: Select none.
Authentication method: Password, transmitted insecurely.
User Name: Here we would enter the complete email address.
