Every day we receive hundreds of spam, if we are sure that we have received an email classified as spam, it is possible to report it and put the originating server on a blacklist. To do this, we perform the following steps:
We copy the header of the message.
- On the message that is spam, right-click on properties.
- Then the details tab, here we see the entire header of the message that we have received and the servers of origin and destination, we select everything and save it in a notepad.
2. Register in a blacklist system.
- In our case, we will use spamcop that is used by a large part of ISPs.
- We enter here: http://www.spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml
- At the bottom we put our name and email. We will receive a password to our email.
- We log in at the top right.
3. Report the spam
- Once logged in, click on "Report spam".
- Paste the message header in the valid box for it.
- Finally, click on "process spam".
And it's already reported, so at least they can't use the same server. This header must be taken from the original email received in the original account, be careful with emails that are redirected as you may ban yourself.
