To use email, you must have created your email account. If you have not yet done so, please follow this guide:
http://www.profesionalhosting.com/soporte-en-linea/como-crear-un-correo-electronico-preg1.html

Once you have created your account, open Outlook. If it is the first time you are using it, an assistant will open. Otherwise, follow these steps:

  • Go to the top and click on: Tools-> Account Settings.

  • Once the account settings are displayed, go to the Email tab and click on "New...".

  • Select the first option, Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click the "Next" button.

  • A form will appear, but we only select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click the "Next" button.

  • Select Internet Email (the first option) and click the "Next" button.

  • Fill out the form, keeping the following in mind:

Your Name: Here you should enter the name that will appear as the sender of the email.

Email Address: Here you should enter the complete email address created with profesionalhosting. If your domain is something.com and you have created the email [email protected], you should enter [email protected]

Account Type: POP3

Incoming mail server (POP3): it is always mail.yourdomain. If your domain is something.com, it would be mail.something.com

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): it is always mail.yourdomain. If your domain is something.com, it would be mail.something.com

User Name: This is the complete email address created.

Password: Enter the password created or assigned to the email account.

Retype Password: Retype it.

  • On this same screen, click on More Settings, then go to the "Outgoing Server" tab and select the checkbox "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Click on "OK".

  • Click the "Next" button, then click Finish.

This guide was made using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. Other versions are similar, although they may vary slightly.
