Prestashop templates allow us to modify the visible part of our website and adapt it to our needs. Prestashop already incorporates a default theme, but you can change it to any other you want.

The first step is to find the template that best suits your store. Prestashop has a catalog of themes that you can buy from their page. If you are a client of Professional Hosting, you also have a series of free themes for Prestashop at your disposal here.

Once you have found the theme you want for your store and have downloaded it to your computer, it is time to install it. To do this, access the Prestashop administration panel and from the menu go to Preferences > Themes.

When the themes page opens, click on the Add New Theme button in the upper right corner and then on Add File to select the theme you downloaded previously. From this same window, you can also upload a theme that you have uploaded via FTP to the themes folder of your Prestashop or enter the address from where the theme file can be downloaded so that it is downloaded directly to the server.

Once the theme is installed, you will return to the theme selection window, where the installed themes appear. To choose the new theme, you just have to hover over the image so that the option to Use this theme appears.

You now have the theme installed and active, you just need to configure it to look the way you want.
