WHM allows you to create multiple hosting accounts, which will be cPanel accounts, each one independent. This way we can have several users who will only access their cPanel and will not be able to see the other websites, hostings, ... that we have on the server. Let's show a little how to manage them.
Show accounts in WHM
To show in WHM the accounts we have created, we just have to go to the Account Information option > List Accounts
Within this option, we can see the accounts, users associated with them, enter their cPanel by clicking on the cP icon, disk quota...
Create account in WHM
To create an account, we access the Account Functions option > Create a New Account.
Then, we will have to fill in the following data:
Domain: we indicate the name of the domain that the user is going to manage
Username: we indicate the cPanel username
Password: cPanel user password
Re-enter Password: cPanel user password
Security: indicates the security of the password
Email: we put the email associated with the user
Then we will have the package configuration:
Choose a Package: we can choose an already created package to give it the quota, email accounts, ... limits in general
Select Options Manually: you can choose not to select a package and manually set the limitations
We leave the following options as they are by default. To finish, we click on the Create button and the new account created will appear in the list of accounts.
The data that we have entered in username and password, are the data with which the user can connect directly to their cPanel.
Modify account in WHM
To modify an already created account (for example, modify the disk quota, domain, user, ...) we have an option in WHM. To do this, we go to Account Functions > Modify an Account.
To modify the account, when we enter we select the account and click on the Modify button as indicated in the image
When we click on modify, a screen will appear where we can edit the account details.
Delete account in WHM
To delete a user account, we have to go to the Account Functions option > Terminate Account. When we enter the option, the accounts we have appear. We select the ones we want to delete and then click on the Remove selected accounts button.
