Remember that before doing the following steps in this tutorial, it is necessary to make a backup! If you do not know how to make a backup, we provide you with a tutorial to be able to do it "Tutorial to make a backup".

If we want to change our PrestaShop domain, to work with a different one, we can do it with a few simple steps. To do this, we access the PrestaShop administration and enter Store settings > Traffic & SEO.

We scroll down to the bottom of this section, and we have an option that is Set store URL. Here, the current domain that we have in our PrestaShop will appear. We modify the two fields (Store address and URL address) and put the domain that we want to put as new in our PrestaShop. When we have it, we click on Save to apply the changes.

After this, the only thing left for us to do would be to access our hosting control panel (in this case Plesk), we access the Subscription and then enter the Hosting settings option. Inside, where it indicates Domain name, we change this to our new domain. We go to the bottom and click on OK to save the changes.

With this, we have already changed our domain in PrestaShop.
