Our VPS servers, both with Plesk and Cpanel, offer self-signed certificates. This means that they are not issued by a registering agency, but not necessarily insecure.
Increasingly, control panels require and force the compulsory use of the HTTPS protocol, which is why we want to reassure customers when trying to access their VPS and encountering the "site not secure" message.
To do this, we will explain the first steps to accept a self-signed SSL certificate.
Accepting the certificate
When we access our server, this window will appear:
In this window, we will have to click on ADVANCED OPTIONS and another step will appear in the same window that we must accept:
Now we will have to click on Access XXX.XXX.XXX (not secure)
After these two simple steps, our control panel will appear.
