To set up remote backups, we have 2 options:
- Remote server backups: From Plesk in Tools & Settings > Backup Manager.
- Subscription-level backups: From Plesk in Subscriptions > click on our subscription > Backup Manager.
Once inside the Backup Manager, we go to the ftp storage configuration option, where we will configure the ftp repository with the data that professional hosting has sent us as a backup server:
Later, we have 3 options:
- Configuration: Here we have some configuration parameters such as number of histories, conditions to start a backup...etc
- Schedule: Here we will configure the backups to be done automatically on the date we set:
Copy: This option allows us to make a backup at the moment, both in scheduling and copying we can choose the type of backup and what we want to copy in said backup, we click accept and it starts to be done:
In both options (schedule and copy) we will have to select that they are done in the ftp repository so that they are done and transferred there:
Once scheduled or done manually, it will appear as done in our ftp repository:
