PrestaShop allows us to put our store in Maintenance Mode. This mode makes the website inaccessible and indicates a message that we can modify, for example, to be making modifications to the website without it changing, to perform module updates, ...

To put PrestaShop in Maintenance, we must access the PrestaShop administration, and then access the Store Parameters > Configuration section. When we enter, within this section we have two tabs, we click on Maintenance.

Within this window, we can activate or deactivate the store. If we deactivate it, the administration can be accessed but not the front-end of the store. In addition, we can deactivate it and add our IP so that we can access the store without problems, only from that IP or IPs that we indicate. We can also modify the text message that appears when trying to access the store. When everything is to our liking, we click on the Save button to apply the changes.
